MCOT - MCOT is 24-hour/365 service availalbe to all of the community members of Carbon, Emery and Grand Counties. MCOT stands for Mobile Crisis Outreach Team and consists of two staff members including a mental health therapist and a case manager/peer support employee. MCOT teams travel to the location of the crisis including, but not limited to, home, hospital, jail, etc. If someone is in need of MCOT services from these counties, simply call 988 where you will be linked to the Utah State Wide Crisis Line and they will dispatch the MCOT in your area.
The 24-hour Crisis Receiving center is NOW OPEN. It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This facility is available to anyone in crisis. There is a quick screening process prior to admission to ensure this facility is the most appropriate for the needs of the client. Clients will be provided with a multitude of services including mental health/substance use medical stabilization, therapy, case management and other services as indicated.
